Business For Sale
Due to the fact that I have reached retirement age and have no one to take over my business KWIKMARK (BENONI) PTY LTD, Mining Supplies, I have decided to put it up for sale.
The company has been running since 1991 and have sold to countries such as, Canada, Russia, Australia, Zambia, Nigeria and of course South Africa. Peru has shown a great interest in two of the products, namely Kwikspot and Kwikangle. We have appointed an agent who is doing the marketing and negotiations for us. He has a great knowledge of the English language and represents 5 other South African mining companies in Peru.
My range of products are used mainly underground in the Coal, Gold, Platinum and Diamond mines.
Kwikspot and Kwikangle form a unique marking off system for tunnels ranging from 3m x 3m to 6m x 6m.
Patents, drawings and all technical information will be sold with the company. Presently all the products are manufactured in South Africa however can be manufactured elsewhere in the world.

KWIKANGLE
is an intrinsically safe, versatile and compact instrument used for measuring
vertical and horizontal angles and is also indispensable when extending line and
grade in routine mining and tunneling operations. |

| Kwikangle
is comparable to a simple theodolite, with the telescope replaced by a laser pointer.
This extremely robust but lightweight unit, powered by a 4.0 volt rechargeable
battery pack, is easily fitted to a standard surveyor’s tripod and incorporates
a leveling base with bullseye bubble, leveling screws, a pan head and an extension
shaft. The laser pointer produces a bright red spot, visible to a distance of
over 100m and can be rotated 360 degrees in the horizontal and 180 degrees in
the vertical axis. A horizontal protractor and vertical inclinometer measures
angles to an accuracy of 1 degree. Kwikangle has been SABS approved. |

KWIKLINE
is a lightweight, self contained alignment laser of extremely robust
construction which provides a highly visible red spot at over 300m distance for
the quick and |  |
| accurate
estabilishment
of direction lines for mining or any application where accurate alignment is essential.
This intrinsically safe, battery - powered unit is rechargeable by means of a
220 volt power point and will operate for up to 18 hours between charges. The
simplicity and accuracy of the Kwikline ensures quick and dependable alignment
after minimal instruction of the user. Kwikline has also been SABS approved. This
product won a Design Institute Award in the year 2000. |  |

KWIKSPOT
is a projector fitted with a precision drilled metal graticule which projects
upon the rockface the required drill pattern for tunnel sizes ranging from 10
m2 |

to
40 m2. This extremely robust, but lightweight projector, powered by a 12 volt
15 AMP rechargeable battery, is mounted on a standard surveyor’s tripod 8
to 10 metres away from the rockface. A tilt head enables the projector to be quickly
and accurately leveled and directed at the rockface. The marking and drilling
of the drill pattern can then proceed with speed and repeatable consistency.
